Bologna offers tourists a variety of things to see and do; walk into the center where you can admire the majestic Piazza Maggiore with the fountain of Neptune, the seven churches of S. Stefano with their BImillennial history, the two towers, Garisenda and Asinelli, with their breathtaking panorama.
Real works of art are enclosed in the many churches, such as "Il Pianto del Cristo Morto" by Niccolò dell'Arca, in the Church of Santa Maria della Vita.

Bologna is very famous for its arcades (over 38 km in the historic center alone) which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021, and offer safe shelter on rainy days, allowing you to visit the center without risking getting wet! To fully admire them, why not take a nice evening walk to the Basilica of San Luca? The one that reaches the Sanctuary from Porta Saragozza is in fact the longest portico in the world, with its 3.5 km in length and 666 arches.
And then the Archiginnasio, the museums, the taverns, the tortellini, Ducati and much more... All just a stone's throw from the Agriturismo il Cavicchio!
